A Note to Brides: My Approach to Wedding Photography
When the day is gone and the years go by, you should be able to look back on your wedding photos and relive that amazing emotion and excitement! As a photographer, my style is to document your day as it unfolds in a story-telling format, using a good blend of classic, timeless imagery with creative photojournalism.  We do get those posed images that you need, but my focus is on creating a portfolio of beautiful images of you two as a couple. My favorites are the moments of candid laughter and tears and all those little details along the way.

After I photographed my first wedding over 12 years ago, I fell in love with capturing the beauty and intimacy of two hearts in love. My own heart is full of such sincere gratitude to all of the incredible couples who have given me the privilege to work with them. I have the best clients in the world! Each couple is unique and everyone has their own story to tell. It’s such a privilege to be able to do that!

My glory is in Jesus Christ who extends His grace, mercy, and unfailing love toward me, His bride, every day. And I thank Him for allowing me to bless others and be blessed so abundantly in return. My cup overflows.

Hi Wendy!

My fiance and I are getting married on a farm in Grand Bay, Alabama on October 12, 2013. You were recommended to me by Lafe Blobaum, so I found your website and I really enjoy your work. We want to have a beautiful, laid back wedding and we want a photographer to document the feeling and laughter and tears and excitement of the day. Of course, we’ll need a few posed family shots, but I am really looking for someone to capture moments and emotion. Are you available that day? If so, could you tell me about the packages you offer?
