New Life.

The miracle of life is something I never get over, something that continually keeps me in awesome wonder. One day this precious life was in his mommy’s tummy, and the next he was born into this world with all the hope and promise that new life brings. I hope you enjoy these images from Will’s first portrait session. Thank you, Shannon & Chad for allowing me to be a part of these sacred moments. Will is amazing!

“For you created my inmost being;
you knit me together in my mother’s womb.

I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made;
your works are wonderful,
I know that full well.

Your eyes saw my unformed body.
All the days ordained for me were written in your book
before one of them came to be.”

~Psalm 139

I ♥ San Diego!

I just had the privilege of spending some time once again in sunny San Diego, but this time, I was able to stay with dear friends in a historical home on Coronado Island! What a treat! The home was right across the street from the beach where we walked over to snap some portraits of the absolutely gorgeous Niles Family. This is one of those times where it was really hard to narrow down my favorites to share with you! Enjoy!

Tennesse Fall

There’s no place like Tennessee to enjoy the crisp, cool weather of fall! Lucky for me, my new family lives in just the perfect place to take it all in! And coming from down South where the temps still feel like summer and the humidity is still working a number on my hair, this is always a welcome change. (Ladies, you know what I’m sayin’!) These are a few shots from my portrait session with Matt & Abby, my new (well since April that is!) sister & brother-in-law. They just celebrated their one year anniversary!!
A weekend with family, SEC football, and a chance to photograph with hay bales – life is sweet!
