William + Hannah | Wedding At Sacred Heart Chapel | Fairhope Wedding

sacred heart chapel

What. A. Night! All I can say is that Dr. William Perez and his beautiful bride, Hannah, know how to throw a party! And the amazing Katie with Noble Events was right there the entire time, from directing the schedule and bustling the dress, to passing out streamers, beads and jello shots at the reception! It was probably the best party I’ve ever attended, and I think the photos show how happy everyone was to be celebrating #Perezpartyofdos that night! Thanks to the amazing couple and their sweet families for allowing me to be a part of it all!

Vendors that rocked the day:

Katie Leavins with Noble Events | Hair + Makeup by Chaney | Belle Bouquet | Tyner’s Catering | Little Cake Shop | The Band: Black Jacket | SOHO Events | Mobile Popcorn | Gulf Coast Tours Trolley

Natalie + Chandler | Orchard Engagement Session

What a precious couple.

Natalie and Chandler have about one month left until they become husband and wife, and I am so very happy for them. They were such a joy to meet and photograph. The way I would catch them looking at each other just made my heart happy. And when Natalie suggested her family farm as the location for their engagement session, I was beside myself.¬†We postponed the shoot due to less than ideal weather, but it was a blessing in disguise as we waited for the ethereal beauty of these beautiful peach tree blossoms. What a feeling of a fairy tale. When we left the delicate pink petals behind, it was only on to more picturesque views of the satsuma groves and pasture lands. And as the sun sank lower in the sky, ending a blissful afternoon with the promise of Spring in the air, I couldn’t help but think of the promise of new life and love and the journey ahead for these two sweethearts.

I have to end with a few shots of our very curious spectators¬†who were all quite photogenic themselves…

Thank you, Natalie and Chandler! I can’t wait to be there for your special day!

TYLER + TRINITY | Hidden Pines Chapel | Dallas, TX

Well, here we go again.

This gal is at a loss for words on how to start this post, and most definitely at a loss for how to narrow down my favorite images from this wedding. ¬†So, meet Tyler + Trinity. They are beautiful. Their wedding was beautiful. And their life together will be equally beautiful. Actually, way¬†more so. ¬†To paraphrase a line in the most heartfelt, precious and loving Father-of-the-Bride toast I have ever heard, “I don’t know where life will take them, but I can tell you one thing, it will be amazing.” Or maybe he said fun? Or joyful? Or an adventure? I think it was all of those things but I was trying to capture moments through my lens through my own teary eyes at that point. (I actually think I may contact the videographer just to hear that speech again, and recite it to my own baby girl one day. For real.) This entire family is special to me in a really unique, supernatural kind of way. I have pretty much¬†adopted them, and if I lived in Texas, you betcha I’d be pushing my way into their incredible family dynamic and making the parents¬†tell me all their secrets¬†on how to raise such fabulous children and live an amazing life. The one thing that I know for certain I would hear over and over would be one simple name: “Jesus.” These people radiate a love and joy in their lives that is found only in the very source of these things. It makes me so happy to know we truly are family in a different sense of the word – Family in Christ. I love them, I loved being asked to photograph another Slover wedding, and I am incredibly, ridiculously blessed to be typing this and sharing this glorious wedding post with you today. Hopefully I am making sense. Sometimes it’s just hard to convey¬†in words the feelings of the heart. After hours of teary-eyed editing, I present the sneak peek for Tyler + Trinity, married at Hidden Pines Chapel in Highland Village, Texas. Enjoy.

Petals Couture did an amazing job with the gorgeous flowers…
